What we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, phone number, email address, property address, and anything you tell us about your situation when you submit a form, call, or text.
- Property information. Publicly available records about the property, including assessor, recorder, treasurer, permit, and sales data. This is public record data, not data about you.
- Technical information. Standard web log data such as IP address, browser, referring page, and pages viewed, plus analytics data if you have not opted out.
How we use it
- To research the property and prepare an offer.
- To contact you about your property by phone, text, or email.
- To send a written offer and the comparable sales behind it.
- To carry a transaction through to closing if you accept.
- To measure which marketing actually works, in aggregate.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other home buyers, wholesalers, or lead brokers. We share what is necessary with service providers who work on our behalf, such as our CRM, email and phone providers, title companies, and attorneys involved in an actual transaction. We will also disclose information if the law requires it.
Calls, texts, and consent
When you give us a phone number and submit a form, you are agreeing that we may call or text you about your property, including with an automated system where applicable. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or tell us on a call. Opting out of marketing messages does not stop communication about a transaction already underway.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies for basic site function and for analytics that tell us which pages people find useful. You can block cookies in your browser. If advertising pixels are added to this site, this section will be updated to name them.
We use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Clarity. Clarity records how visitors move through the site, including clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and can replay that as an anonymous session. It does not record what you type into our forms. Everything you enter in a field, including your address, name, phone number and email, is masked before it ever leaves your browser, and our forms are additionally marked so their contents cannot be captured. Neither tool receives your property address or your contact details. You can opt out of Clarity at clarity.microsoft.com/terms and of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or call the office and we will handle it. If we are in the middle of a transaction, some records have to be retained for legal and accounting reasons.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
